Madhya Pradesh (MP) will take on Rest of India (ROI) in the Irani Cup 2023 clash at the Captain Roop Singh Stadium in Gwalior from 1 March. Madhya Pradesh won the 2021/22 Ranji Trophy by beating Mumbai in the final by six wickets. They also topped Group D in the recent 2022/23 Ranji Trophy but lost to Bengal by 306 runs in the semi-final. Karnataka’s Mayank Agarwal will lead Rest of India, who was the top scorer with 990 runs in nine matches at the recent Ranji Trophy. Last year, they beat Saurashtra by eight wickets under the captaincy of Hanuma Vihari and they are also the favorites to win this year.
